Motable (18×24 inches – wax pencil on paper, framed – 2022

This piece was created using soft-core pencil, pastel, acrylic paint and graphite on high quality mixed-media paper.

There is no intent to create an image that looks like something. Rather, the work is an expression of things observed, seen, felt and thought about in the everyday.

This piece was created during a cold but fine time in the latter part of winter. Perhaps the unusual detail is an anticipation of the budding of spring.
