SOLD Blue Pajamas (14×18 inches coloured pencil on paper unframed) 2022

This work was created using soft-core pencil, pastel and graphite on high quality mixed media paper.

Some shape element are created using hand cut vinyl stencils; some textures are created using pigment chip smudging, color overlays and indenting the paper. Other variations are created by scraping, erasing or wiping off medium to reveal what’s underneath.

There is no intent that the art looks like something specific. Rather, the images are an expression of things experienced, observed, felt and thought about everyday. On completion, this piece reminded me of winter, cozy, pajamas.

Art is shipped in a dent-resistant cylindrical tube.
